SPRING BOOK FAIR featuring summer reading titles and other enticing books will be held in the library/media center on these dates:

Wednesday, June 3 11am--3:30pm Thursday, June 4 7:45am--3:30pm Friday, June 5 7:45am--2pm

The South Library Media Center is open to study hall students on Mondays and Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays from 7:45 a.m. until 3:15 p.m, unless the room has been reserved for a class. The schedule is posted on the LMC door every month. Students may do school related work on the computers, homework, research, read, and check out books and magazines.

The Research Cycle:

  1. Question: identifying and listing the questions you need to explore
  2. Plan: developing a strategy to find pertinent information rapidly
  3. Gather: getting information which casts light on the key questions
  4. Sort, Sift & Analyze: rearranging the puzzle pieces, make a graphic organizer
  5. Synthesize: making sense of the puzzle pieces - getting the picture
  6. Evaluate: figuring out what's missing, what else is needed
  7. Report: sharing insights persuasively
