Best Buddies

Best Buddies is an international organization, founded by Anthony Shriver, which is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and their typical peers by matching them in one to one friendships. The Braintree High School Chapter which was founded in 2000, is comprised of buddies from the Project Prove Program, peer buddies and associate members. Meetings are on Thursday afternoons and alternate between officer meetings and general meetings. The Best Buddies hold group events approximately once a month, and buddy pairs get together on weekends to see movies, go to restaurants or just hang out with each other. We can never have too many friends, so Best Buddies always welcomes new members. Stop by room 221 to find out more about Best Buddies at BHS.
