Learning Center

A comprehensive public high school such as Braintree High School must make every effort to meet the mandates of State Law to educate special needs students in the least restrictive setting while maximizing their potential. Since all students must be educated in the mainstream, the Learning Center provides support supplementary/remedial resources for both students and faculty members to enhance the student’s academic performance. .

Students are scheduled to come to the Learning Center on a regular basis during unassigned periods. Faculty members are encouraged to send work to the Learning Center for students who are falling behind or who need supplemental instruction. Faculty members are also invited to utilize the reference materials available in the Learning Center.
